      Pros

The analyst position here has completely exceeded any expectations I had for my first position out of college. If you are willing to work hard, people will notice and constantly put you in a position to grow, be challenged and succeed. In a growing company in such a rapidly changing industry, this meant the opportunity to be immersed in such a variety of tasks and in many cases, autonomy to take responsibility for them. With the exposure to management and visibility I received as an entry-level analyst, I felt like I was constantly learning, being challenged and being noticed. The team here is also an incredible group of very driven people with diverse backgrounds. They’re incredibly hard-working, but also such genuine and fun people. I have nothing but praise for the way my managers here are able to create both professional and personal relationships with the analysts.

      Cons

Like many of the other reviews mention, this is a challenging, rigorous environment. While some people thrive in the autonomous “sink or swim” atmosphere, it isn’t for everyone. Because of the nature of the business, it is a very high-volume role. If you can handle tight deadlines, manage large amounts of requests and stay organized, it can be very rewarding, but if not, you may struggle in this role.

        Pros

Things I learned during my tenure with 643: 1) Dynamic workplace- this private equity sector moves fast and this is a nimble company requiring team members to continuously adapt to new strategies and work flow. The office has a "tech start-up" feel with an open air work space where interns and entry level employees work side-by-side with execs. Everyone has to wear a lot of hats at 643, keeping things interesting. 2) Opportunity for growth- 643 does a good job at identifying strengths and weaknesses in their employees and finding the right fit, providing the best chance at success for each person. There is room for good ideas from all levels and hard work is recognized. As the company continues to grow, opportunities for advancement come often. 3) Great leadership team- The execs at 643 are very smart and are committed to the success of both the organization and its employees. They are approachable, quick to provide positive feedback, and patient in training and development. 4) Balanced culture- 643 is a diverse work place with just the right balance of intensity, fun, and humor. 5) Going places- There is a feeling of being on the ground floor of something that is going to be big at 643. This company is growing fast and building momentum and it takes pride in being best in class in almost every metric used to track SFR fund operators.

        Cons

This would not be the best fit for those who need clear structure and consistent routine. This is a hard working company that moves fast and some could find this pace stressful.

          Pros

The staff is hardworking and dedicated. 643 Capital Management offers a unique working environment for all with flexible working hours. Family friendly! The CFO personally gets to know all of the staff and works in the bullpen right beside his employees. If you are looking for a team environment, this is the right place for you! They treat temporary staff and contractors the same as full time employees; all employees are invited on company outing or to company sponsored events!

          Cons

If you are willing to put in the work and you a dedicated to producing top notch financial statements, then you will put in long hours during financial the close. Management has high expectations so there is some turnover.

                  Pros

643 is a high-growth company that fosters a very fast paced work environment -- while those who can't handle the stress may consider this a con, this is one of the best parts about having worked here. The experience and skill set I've gained through my journey at 643 has enabled me to excel at anything I set to do. This might be a small company in size, but the talent among co-workers is definitely extraordinary!

                  Cons

Not many "benefits/perks" as you might see in larger corporations

If asked what type of management style to you prefer? How do you feel about micromanagement? How do you answer this professionally? Nobody likes micromanagement so why ask? Maybe bc the manager there does?
