-You will not sit idle. Things move fast here. -Self-aware. From top to bottom and back up to the top there is a culture of accountability with a focus on better starting with them. - Opportunity. Wow, as someone who has spent the better part of two decades in the telephony industry, I have not felt this type of lull before a storm of rapid change since 2002 when VoIP was in its infancy. -The Product. To seize that wave of change and come out of it right, you can't just be in the right place at the right time. You need the right product. In this case, it is the right "Platform" of products, as companies just don't want the complexity or risk associated with cobbling a bunch of different solutions together for their complete communications and collaboration picture. Simple and unified will win out. - Other companies wait, save up, and to maximize the publicity, release major significant announcements in their product offerings once or twice a year. 8x8 literally releases hugely significant product upgrades in the middle of any given week (well tested) so as to not keep our customers from being able to benefit from them. And this happens frequently, enough to be almost trivial, like once every couple of weeks if not weekly.

-We are still a year away from being in the black if things go as planned. As we all know too well with COVID-19, plans change... - There is credible competition in each of the spaces we compete. Though no one can compete with us across all areas we serve (Voice, Contact Center, Video, Chat, CPaaS), there are strong single service players with name recognition. - Growing. As great a benefit it is to have new people and ideas, we still need to bring them in, get them onboarded, connect them, buy technology to serve them, evolve our tools and environment to accommodate an ever changing workforce. This creates challenges that are not bad necessarily, but just do present growing pains from time to time

There are some growing pains as we are having a growth explosion. However, we're working quickly to insure all facets of our business are world class.

There has been a huge amount of positive change at 8x8 in the past year. As a leader at 8x8, I can say unequivocally that we listen to our team and ensure everyone gets an opportunity to develop and deliver to the best of their ability. The company is moving fast!

Great collaborative culture, friendly people, so so much potential, plus all of the cool free things (snacks, coffee, free lunch on wednesdays). We're also moving to a huge, beautiful office in Campbell!!

Everyone seems pretty new to the company and I'm told its because we're growing so fast. I like that it feels like a start up company but its financially sound.

With everyone being so new, there are obviously some growing pains with processes changing for the better and ambiguity with all the new ideas that come with new blood. It can be unsettling but also exciting to be a part of a company that's making such an effort to evolve with the times.
