I worked at 99 Restaurant & Pub (More than a year)

    Pros

The management at my 99 really knows how to take care of their staff. Dan was one of the best people I've got to work for. He was serious but fair. Good atmosphere, great food. What more can you ask for?

    Cons

Understaffed like most places. Line cooks often had to stay really late to help dishwashers and trash. Other than that I liked the job.

    Advice to Management

    nothing I can think of

I have been working at 99 Restaurant & Pub full-time

    Pros

Depending on the manager it can be a fun job with room for promotions

    Cons

Depending on the manager you could be stuck at a send end job

    Advice to Management

    Invest in the employees

I have been working at 99 Restaurant & Pub full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As a server there can be nights , just like anywhere serving quick and fast money

also discounts on meals are always a plus

Def good for somebody with no serving experience to start at to gain experience

    Cons

Training was awful... The manager wouldnt even keep track and Id have to call every day to see when I am working again.

Managere who work there are overworked , exhausted and they are usually pretty ignorant about anything you do.

    They dont like giving breaks

Managers disappear and dont help on the floor , the best help they will give is sometimes expo but they wont want to run your food , anything hands on they refuse to do any dirty work.

    Advice to Management

Utilize your time better. Need to be more professional , and more knowledagble. Also have your training systems in place and be more organized. The restaurant managers need more training , and need to be more helpful on the floor and actually talk with guests not hide.

    Cons

    Your schedule is constantly changing
Sometimes you don't work that much because they just don't have the hours available

    Advice to Management

You should be more hands on and every employee should be respected no matter what the job title

    I worked at 99 Restaurant & Pub full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    good friends and good memories

    Cons

managers are one sided and plastic. experience does not matter and looks and age are all that do when it comes to promotions and advancement. even though i had more than 20 years of bar experience i was never offered a position on the bar, but several girls who were not even of drinking age were. somethings wrong.

    Advice to Management

stop worrying about how you look in the mirror and start caring about the customers and your fellow employees . its your attitude that needs to be improved. arrogance is not good for a team player.

    I worked at 99 Restaurant & Pub full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I really enjoyed working there. The managers were great and so was the rest of the staff. I would work there again.

    Cons

The only reason I did not like working there was they closed the store right before Christmas with little notice.

    Advice to Management

Let the employees know when a restaurant is closing so that we are able to prepare and find other jobs, especially around the holidays, thanks!

    I worked at 99 Restaurant & Pub part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a great training program that really helps you feel comfortable. I worked with a super friendly staff.

    Cons

The only downside is that it was clicky with the year long staff and there was some drama, but nothing I wouldn't have expected

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you're doing. I think this is a great chain restaurant and had a very positive experience working for this company.

    Pros

Kitchen manager at this location is one of the best in the game. Creates great blend of talent on weekends to handle the RUSH.

    Cons

It's not easy work. Fast on your feet to make use of down time, and fast hands when the kitchen is busy.

    Advice to Management

Keep morale of kitchen A1 at all times

    Pros

Work for the most part is easy, receive lots of extra training that is useful. Family type feeling for the most part.

    Cons

No balance for family life, erratic schedules. Upper Management overloads its managers, does not take personal life into account. Getting more difficult to find good people, which leads to low morale.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your current and dedicated employees before they all leave.
