    Pros

Good discounts, semi good quality clothes, relatively easy to get job.

    Cons

My management was rude and did not take the time to properly train me before sending me out to the sales floor.

Train your employees correctly and do not expect them to know everything about retail especially if this is their first job.

    Pros

Benifits and pay weren't too bad considering how young I was.

    Cons

No personal life during holidays and long hours. Short staffed and goal were hard to reach as policies changed on bulk purchasing.

    Advice to Management

With the new ownership they should focus more on providing better training and figuring out a better work life balance. Other retail chains offer better pay/better work life balance. If you tried it out the quality of employee you can recruit would improve and provide better opportunities to succeed.

    Pros

They give you a lot of positive feedback. It's fun to work around people who are uplifting.

    Cons

They never give you anywhere near enough hours. I was only given 4 hours, 2x a week and wasn't offered any more than that. This was awful especially because it's minimum wage and I live about 20-30 minutes away.

I worked at Aéropostale part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty flexible schedule, easy to give away shifts if I couldn't work that day. They gave a lot of hours right when I started which I really appreciated.

    Cons

Some of the people, managers, very stuck up environment. In an area where a lot of customers only spoke Spanish and I had to learn as I went.

    Advice to Management

Teach non Spanish speaking employees a few phrases so that they can be more beneficial to customers. Make it a level playing field.
