  1. "Great company"

    Pros

You work side by side with many project managers in projects that range from websites, to hybrid mobile apps, to native apps as well.

    Cons

If you want to be a developer here then look else where, no development involved even if they say so. If during the interview they tell you that you will be a developer then get ready to NOT be one. You will be doing project manager tasks.

    Advice to Management

    Actually give developers development tasks.

I have been working at A-1 Technology (California) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Once you get out of the main office the experience can be very positive. While on site or at one of the remote offices, the work is fast pace and management is hands off. Hard work is rewarded with decent, but not great raises. Over time, with more experience, management has to pay or loose a valuable employee.

    Cons

NO BENEFITS. FOr a company in such a competitive space as software development, I am astonished they do not offer benefits. Disgraceful how little regard they have for their employees. You pay for your own medical, dental, and life insurance. You plan your own retirement and though a 401k is offered, the company makes zero contribution.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees. They make you successful.

    Pros

Decent leads IF you get any

    Cons

Too may to mention.... Gary (owner) doesn't let anyone in the company take a pee without asking him first.... and sometimes he won't even let you do that. Horrible pay, no benefits, no growth opps, etc etc. Basically run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!
