I worked at A. Duie Pyle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The main office is in a good location.

There are literally no other pros.

    Cons

If you want to be treated with respect, don't work here.

If you dislike gossipy foul-mouth rude co-workers, don't work here.

If you think "hazardous waste" should be limited to items being hauled and not to describe the condition of the buildings and bathrooms, don't work here.

If you don't feel that a manager should address their subordinates by screaming at them and cursing at them in front of everyone, don't work here.

If you want to be treated like a human being and keep your dignity intact, don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Everything you've done so far, do the complete opposite.

    Pros

Good pay for a part time job and easy work.

    Cons

Youre alone for most of your shift and you are doing the same task over and over for the entire shift. Also you have to work in the extreme cold or extreme heat since there is no air conditioning.

    Pros

The pay is ok, enough for your average living. Benefits is ok root. 2.5% is contributed by the company. Opportunities to move up within company is endless if you put up the work

    Cons

If you are a leader, your employees make your than you. Because you're salaried, while they can make overtime. The hours of operations is very long.

    Advice to Management

Reduce the hours for your leaders

I worked at A. Duie Pyle full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great health plan compared to other companies.

    Cons

Micromanagement of employees. Every issue is treated as a major catastrophe. Zero work/life balance. Pyle must come first, always. Good old boy network. If you're not friends with the right managers, you'll never get anywhere. If you cross the wrong one, you're screwed.

    Advice to Management

None. Regardless of what their "Core Values" say, that they preach all the time, they neither value nor listen to feedback. In fact, you're quite likely to be retaliated against for speaking up about issues, for not being a "team-player".

I have been working at A. Duie Pyle full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    You get paid every week

    Cons

Bullying Mentality by some of Senior Leadership. Once you become a Supervisor, hello to 14 hour days..

    Advice to Management

Re-evaluate some of your Senior Leaders.. They are clueless, and the overall bullying mentality is unprofessional, and shows their education level.
