    Cons

No matter how good you are and how serious you are about your job. If you are not 3 things you will be looked over. Being white , smiling 24/7 , always happy no matter what Even if you are a major mess up you will get a promotion.

    Pros

    Beautiful office, except they moved.

    Cons

They are the most arrogant group of useless business "professionals" I've ever encountered.

    Advice to Management

Do something to streamline operations instead of kissing butt all day.

    I worked at A.G. Edwards & Sons full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a very team oriented company, helpful during and after the new learning curve time. They offered a wonderful training program.

    Cons

Other than the company being bought out, I can't say anything negative, or downsides to the Company. They were great. They Company, and the staff.

    Advice to Management

Upper management was just as great in helping they employees and staff, recognizing and praising them for jobs well done.

    I worked at A.G. Edwards & Sons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great training, wonderful people, it was a good experience starting a book from scratch at this employer.

    Cons

Hard to start a book from scratch. The people I was working with were wonderful though and I enjoyed working there. Selling the business 2x in 2 years was a tough transition for people and much of the corporate culture was lost in the transitions. Overall likely a good move for people with equity though.

    Advice to Management

    Should have stayed independent
