    Pros

    The people that I work with are the best, we treat each other's like family. It is nice to call where you work home

    Cons

    Mecro manegment , pay can be way better. No work or outer life balance . If u are late 2 min all h*ll will break loss.

    Advice to Management

    We live in the 21st century you all conducting business like is 1889. And payus more money we have families 2 . You guys swimming in du and we get paid 8.50-9 an Hr is not fair.

    Pros

    They will hire you fast and even without experience. I was hired one day to the next.

    Cons

    Awful people as managers since they lack true people skills, knowledge and customer service I would say due to the lack of education but these are just horrible people without an excuse. It's because of these bad managers that the the good hard working employees leave.

    Advice to Management

    Don't advance someone to a higher position just based on tenure, give it to someone who truly deserves it and is a good leader.

    Good company with lots of overtime

    Cons

    Very strict on being on time. The slightest two min late will cause problems

    Pros

    I had great coworkers. They were the only ones keeping me from leaving at that time.

    Cons

    This place is high school all over again. The management don't trust us, thus installed cameras to monitor workers. The controller relied on negative feedbacks constantly to bring down morale of team. Lack of leadership and good role model brought down effectiveness as a team to perform well. Also, it was difficult to take part of day off for emergencies even when we did not get paid as hourly employees. All in all, it's a stressful environment to work with little pay (resulting in high turnover ratio).

    Advice to Management

    Treat employees right and you will see productivity increase.

    Everything. Culture is horrendous, pay is horrendous, benefits are horrendous and no 401K NO PTO, NO SICK TIME !! Worst company EVER

    The training was terrible, the girls are mean and always talking about getting drunk or crap about customers, management is a joke they basically turn it around as if it's our fault we can't get along with the other girls, pay is too little to deal with everything they require, marketing at your own expense, banking at your own expense with pay just a dollar above minimum wage, it's ridiculous

    Advice to Management

    Pay better, get better employees that care for their job, and care more for your customers!

    Pros

    Cons

    The hours are horrible, pay is worst even with 40+ hours, other locations employees were rude and not helpful. You cannot ask for weekends off and managers only get paid a dollar more then agents commission is only 5%, even if you have years of experience. They make you go marketing in your own vehicle and at your own expense. It's the worst employment I have ever had.

    Advice to Management

    Start paying your employees what their worth and stop taking advantage of them with you just sit behind a desk and take all the profit of our hard work!!

    Pros

    I love the freedom and the flexibility to run the operations as per my knowledge and understanding. I get to make important decisions and take up new challenges to help boost the performance of my zone.
    People are very nice. Very helpful.
    I got consistent coaching along the way. Worked my way up from being a non-insurance background, to a sales rep, then manager, then Zone manager.
    Perks - Benefits - Pay are good.

    Cons

    Could be good if they offered 401k or Tuition Reimbursement

    Advice to Management

    Its growing and growing fast.. Keep it up

    Pros

    This company is rapidly growing and consistently trying to stay ahead of its competitors in local market. During my employment here, I worked on several projects triggered by the commitment of being a market leader. These projects included but were not limited to revamping the look and feel for their brand, improving the quality of their service by investing heavily in training, and shifting the company culture in favor of their employees and their families. Growth opportunities are endless as the company is expanding in new markets. My career with A-MAX began as an agent when I was going to graduate school and I quickly made my way to a Director's role. I saw several others who also excelled in their positions and were rewarded with growth opportunities

    Cons

    A-MAX is a growing company which is still building it's culture while competing in new markets. This means it's fast paced, ever changing and faces new challenges on consistent basis. If you do not enjoy working in such environment then this may not be a place for you. For me, this made my job more exciting.
