    Pros

Pay and benefits are very good. Team I was on was wonderful to work with. Training is grueling at the beginning.

    Cons

Quota system is something that is difficult to deal with every month. Can be very stressful especially since much of the quota achievement is out of your hands (people die, family has loved one move in with them or they change their minds, etc.)

    Pros

Great company that truly values their employees, partners and the families they serve. Great leadership and a company that lives their mission.
Working at A Place For Mom is the opportunity to work for an innovative technology / marketing company that continues to create tremendous success in a great growth industry.

    Cons

It's often difficult to find enough talent to keep up with demand. Also, the service is free, so it's often difficult to help families understand how the service works and that there truly is no cost.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

I have been working at A Place for Mom full-time

    Pros

The longer I work at A Place for Mom, the happier I am. This is a wonderful, balanced environment to work in, and I feel good, every day, knowing that I'm coming to work for a company that truly does good work, provides an excellent service, and helps people with decisions that are important to their lives. The people I work with and for are extremely smart and talented - it's one of the first places I've worked where I feel comfortable and confident that management will consistently take smart actions and make the right decisions for business success and for the company itself. And the people I work with, throughout the office, are interesting and nice, and all seem to enjoy and care about the work they do. The office environment is very comfortable, and the views from the 32nd floor of the Columbia Center are extraordinary. Management encourages an excellent work and home life balance, which allows me to work hard while I'm in the office, but still have the time and flexibility to close up work at a reasonable hour and enjoy life outside the office. And like I said, from management and employees, top to bottom, all seem to care about the work we do, and most of all, the people we help along the way. Overall, I've had an excellent experience working at A Place for Mom, and look forward to being part of the company's success for a long, long time.

    Cons

I can't think of any really. The company's compensation and benefit plans all seem fair to its employees, and in pretty much everything it does, the company seems to want to do the right things for its clients and team.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work to build a strong company that is profitable and successful, while keeping an eye on doing good work for all of the clients who reach out to A Place for Mom for guidance and help.
