I have been working at A.V. Gauge & Fixture full-time for less than a year

    Pros

some great people to work with and a great place to learn. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed with lots of room to grow and learn different things

    Cons

pay being the primary. Paid an average of 34% lower than the national average with anywhere from 15 to 20 hours of over time per week. It's nice because we make a livable salary that is at the average but we have no free time to live it. Lots of racism, to the point where it makes it difficult to justify being nice to people, this comes from both local kentuckians and the canadian supervisors. I have on multiple... occasions heard management openly use racial slurs while justifying why some people are lesser than other.

I have been working at A.V. Gauge & Fixture full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great place to work with opportunity to learn anything from industry basics to advanced technologies. Quality of work is well recognized. The pay system is very good for those who perform like anywhere else. Highly recommend for those who are willing to put their time and effort to grow with the organization.

    Cons

Hourly employees may work 50-60 hours a week. Could be a pro or a con based on which you look at.

    Advice to Management

Senior Management is very friendly and excellent to deal with.
