    Pros

It is a small company mostly depends on sub contracts.

    Cons

There is no guarantee of the stable projects therefore no guarantee of jobs either.
It can effect you any time.
Rest the less speak the better.

    Advice to Management

    Not a standard, trained management.

    Pros

The pros are good culture across the board i would say give them a go - I need 20 words pros and cons to any job

    Cons

I would say that the cons are the hours although it is up to you when you negotiate contract I suppose

    Negative Outlook

I worked at A&O as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great events to bring employees together and a meet up at the local pub every Friday to blow off steam and get to know one another.

    Cons

Management is terrible and lacks direction. Office politics at it's best with not letting go of toxic employees bullying others due to friendship with the management. Prefer employees on contracts and threaten job security in order to keep them working as slave labour.

Due to the company having long term employees mostly being friends from before, the new blood that comes never sticks around regardless of talent. It also means there are no job opportunities for new comers to have ambitions towards.

The resources do not match the workload that they take and therefore it feels like they have spread resources thinly. Overtime hours are not paid beyond a certain point because of "budget" issues, and they pressure employees to take work home with them in order to get it done for free.

Lunch time is akin to "School", they prefer employees to have/bring lunches at the office so they can continue to work on the desk. If you go out they time it to the minute and it becomes "problematic" if you're a a minute or two late.

Furthermore, they want you to come to work 30 minutes early in order to do more unpaid work for them to be in the good books of the management.

Overall a terrible company to work for unless you lack education or qualifications in which case it should be a last option.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of toxic individuals that are reported to HR and have a continuous history of being unable to work with others in a team. Approach employees with experience, qualifications and experience to promote rather than rely on loyalty or how long an employee has been in the company as it's certainly not working.
