I worked at AAH Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Market leader, genuinely tries to do the best by people and says all the right things. Recently taken over by new American owners - potential for growth if managed well.

    Cons

Poor communication methods. Leadership comes across as insincere due to regular changes of direction - no clarity around business initiatives. Focus has switched from people to cost cutting. The loyal are leaving in their droves.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach, in every colleague-facing scenario. Provide staff with a clear sense of direction. Don't try to change everything at once.

I worked at AAH Pharmaceuticals full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's an easy task to do

    Cons

I felt like staff took advantage of the fact I am Young and it's my first job, by doing this I was made to feel bullied and miserable by them.

    Advice to Management

Make sure people are treated equally ,don't abuse the working contract agreement and most certainly don't allow people to feel bullied.

I worked at AAH Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There weren't any. Underpaid salary. The advertised job title was for a Business Development Manager. The appropiate title should have been Junior Territory Development Manager.

    Cons

Middle management are paranoid and adopt a bully like approach in their management of employees. Aggressive in communication. Make you feel like you have no skill set. On a training day visit with my manager I was disgusted and shocked as he chose to urinate in the grounds of a Church as there were no public toilets available. This was in the centre of a city. I was truly disgusted and have never seen anything like it in my professional career.

    Advice to Management

You have no trust or belief in the ability of your employees. I would never have worked for your company had i'd known how you would belittle me in every aspect. You are not a people focused company. You have no culture, morales and principles in place and have no understanding how to motivate and get the best out of people. You should not be in business.
