I worked at AAPT (Less than a year)

    Pros

Staff were excellent, I met some life long friends. Great for technical new starters who want to get their hands dirty with multiple platforms and architecture.

    Cons

TPG took over and 90% of the skilled staff were either let go or left due to the poor business culture that TPG bring. They even stopped people from buying charitable items from the tea room...

    Advice to Management

Value your staff and stop being so cheap. As Warren Buffet said, “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” This is why TPG will always be considered a cheap company if they don't change their ways.

I worked at AAPT full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

State management was fantastic, would always back what you wanted to do.
However for those not based in head office, you would always get trodden on by the local head office favourites

    Cons

    TPG, need I say more?
It's a race to the bottom (price) with more and more crappy products and over worked support teams

    Advice to Management

Talk to each other and stop pointing the finger to each other when things go wrong (but they never listen to anyone else)
