    Great pay, excellent benefits package, opportunity to relocate/move around within the company, career development opportunities

    Political involvement / issues can affect personal life - so at times, you never really get away from work.

    I have been working at AARP as an intern

    Pros

    Great experience with a company which is trying to innovate in a space and for a consumer most companies aren't

    Cons

    The intern salary is not a lot but apart from that everything is pretty great, it's a chill environment with some exciting work

    Advice to Management

    Nothing much to be honest they're responsive, responsible people who are pretty great at what they are doing

    "..this program became available to me at a very pivotal point in my life and ability to work to support myself! I will be forever grateful for them and the work/career experience that they allowed me to acquire!"

    Cons

    The only one is the fact that you can only be on the program for 3yrs.!

    Pros

    Great Benefits, up to 5 weeks paid vacation, 2 weeks caregiving leave, 48 hours for to volunteer. Wonderful mission and great co workers

    Cons

    The commute to downtown DC can be difficult
