I have been working at ABB full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is OK, lots of overtime. Great overall company

    Cons

The US Solar Service depart is so poorly managed. Much confusion and blame shifting. The example being set by management is very bad.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at Service management, poor communication. Unless we can make management feel it was their idea, they will never implement our ideas. Feels like grade school management.

I have been working at ABB full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Stability , learning , training, experiences, team work spirit and strong products technologies . The company is giving full attention to work in full integrity.

    Cons

Career path is not clear , new position selection criteria evaluations may depend on some views that may affect all positions and grading promotions .

    Advice to Management

More focus on the middle Managment level as they are direct touch and contact with the business or the teams who are handling business . Improve their ambitions and enthusiasm to work not only by practicing pressure to achieve

I have been working at ABB full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Better pay than other locals, steady 4 day work week

    Cons

taking of some benefits, not stocking of tools needed on daily basis.

    Advice to Management

be more employee friendly, younger middle management is only looking at numbers, not looking at real world situations, ie can`t snap fingers and get good parts.

I worked at ABB full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Big company with great products and benefits.

    Cons

CEO is running the company and people to the grown, using ALL resources for his personal image and benefit. Destroying everything and everyone in his path. Great employees since 2014 have either quit or have gotten fired, whomever is left is a soldier who must execute/follow orders, or else...

    Advice to Management

    fire the CEO, fast!
