I have been working at ABB full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Global scope. Benefits. Some of the technology depending on where you work.

    Cons

Very much a silo organization. Bloated. Too many VP's. No opportunities to move to other divisions. Does not understand the US Market. Focus is on EBIT, not employees or customers. ABB is an accounting company that happens to produce some technology.

    Pros

Extremely focused on safety, both in the office space and factory.

    Cons

Consistently get it wrong when attempting to understand why their business is performing poorly. They are hyper focused on the short term numbers, and have no long term strategy. Constantly eliminating potions to meet the numbers - damaging those that remain.
