I have been working at ABBTECH Professional Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You have a job that pays every week.

    Cons

They don't have any benefits. They just pay your vacation automatically, so you have to save it yourself. Health insurance is horrible. I talked to them probably 5 times in my 3 year run with them. They don't really care about their employees.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees and keep in contact with them.

    Cons

Everything I would not refer this company to anyone.

    Pros

WTF I guess they were there.

    Cons

They told me they no longer need me the day before my assignment . I prepared for three weeks and numerous hours paperwork and a drug test. They made that whole process very difficult too as well as time -entry for payment. Now they have all of my personal information . Companies like this need to dissolve from within from within from their own idiosyncrasy.

    Advice to Management

    Get a real job.

I worked at ABBTECH Professional Resources (More than a year)

    Pros

It is east to get hired especially for external temporary positions.

    Cons

You will be considered a disposable asset. You are only as valuable as the money you make for them.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps they should consider why they have a poor reputation.

    "Where is the Zero Star?"

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

Family owned business with zero accountability with the actions of upper management because they are "family". No real HR in place things get swept under the rug 100% of the time. No room to advance unless you are part of their family. They churn and burn staff believe all the negative reviews. Managers set you up for failure and start gossip and rumors for their own amusement.

    Pros

N/A not worth dealing with then

    Cons

Why I have to wait for almost 2 weeks for my expense report when I submitted all the receipt itemized they way the request then when I talk to payroll it cause I suppose didn't submit where I include my tip when on the itemized receipt I wrote down the tip

    Advice to Management

Need seasonal recruiters someone who know the industry not some one who looks pretty to look at.

I worked at ABBTECH Professional Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Access to job boards. Clean office. Friendly coworkers. Great help when asking for office supplies or help with computer problems.

    Cons

Dark office. Must earn a window office. Must Punch in and out plus tell receptionist when coming and going. Medical benefits are Kaiser Permanent only and you pay. Low base salary. No vacation pay for a year. Looking for security clearance and certified candidates but can't pay them due to required company markup. Process to hire is slow. Too many steps. Disorganized and openings weak. Plenty of Competition that can offer better benefits, salary and growth.

    Advice to Management

Change process. More open communication between recruiters and account executives. Rotate 200 openings among 10 recruiters and discuss results as a team. Offer better medical benefits for consultants. Offer attractive reasons of why to work for Abbtech other than they are family owned. Care more about communication and training than filling jobs will go a long way.

    Pros

Steady employment, regular paychecks, no pressure or performance reviews. Easy job to get and keep.

    Cons

No salary increases, no promotion, minimal benefits, no contact with actual management, just company reps. Bare minimum holiday pay, no sick days and max one week vacation.

    Advice to Management

If you want to reduce turnover, offer some incentive for retention.
