    Pros

awesome people to work with, flexible schedule, and once in a while you saw famous people. My supervisor was a great coworker and person.

    Cons

The pay wasn't so great. The people that worked there, but aren't your coworkers can be mean.

    Advice to Management

No advice. The problems wasn't with Management, it was above them. Maybe just to stand up a bit more for you people.

I worked at ABC (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked with a variety of shows at ABC Entertainment, including "Ugly Betty", "Help Me, Help You", "October Road", "In the Motherhood", and "The Neighbors".

It is a fast based environment working in Television production. The work is interesting and always different. You get to rub elbows with celebrities, and union workers get hours towards their health and pension benefits.

    Cons

The hours are long, and the labor can be exhausting. It is hard to have a personal life when you work 65-70 hours a week.

    Advice to Management

ABC Entertainment was notorious for promoting established shows while not budgeting to advertise for new shows that did not premiere well. They need to give their new shows a better chance at success.

    I worked at ABC full-time

    Pros

    - Great benefits
    - Top-notch brand with some of the most high-quality programming among broadcast networks
    - Great perks (Disney theme park passes!)
    - Incredibly smart coworkers across various business units
    - Sales organization is incredibly smart
    - Really strong pulse on the importance of digital platforms, perhaps more so than the other broadcast networks

    Cons

    - Can be a bit hierarchical
    - Culture widely varies by business unit/network/department;
    - Company is a bit silo'd, so it's not the easiest place to network across departments/business units
    - Heavy internal competition for any job opening
    - Probably one of the most "corporate" networks in the entertainment industry
    - Diversity didn't always seem to be a priority
    - Younger employees tend to leave after a couple years

    Advice to Management

    - Engage the Millennial employees more; Invest more in company culture and cross-departmental collaboration

    Advice to Management
