I worked at ABM Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are some great people being brought into the company, the benefits are great and the office is nice

    Cons

Terrible, terrible culture. Upper management is rigid and do not allow enough flexibility. The office is in a bad location no matter where you live and the dress code is ancient, especially for a company whose primary focus is janitorial.

    Advice to Management

Stand by the culture you are trying to create and give flexibility to keep talent in a very competitive market.

I worked at ABM Industries full-time

    Pros

Nice office and good field worker to work with

    Cons

NINCOMPOOP management specially in B&I vertical. They fire people who have been with the company for more than 20+ years in a day just because they bought a new company and the employees who have been with ABM for decades had to go so that the new employees can be integrated in the new company.

    Advice to Management

Give respect to employees who have given so much to this company. Try to hold friendly discussions with employees and really listen to them.
