    Pros

Work is rewarding to do, especially if you love working with kids.

    Cons

Sometimes inconsistent hours depending if client cancels You are required to be BCBA supervised 5% of the hours you work each month, this is sometimes difficult when you are working nearly full-time hours. Lack of preparing for more difficult behaviors, especially for new employees

    Inconsistent and Disorganized Workplace Environment

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Good experience to work directly with clients. Provided training in ABA therapy techniques and reimbursed for all trainings and tests you are required to take.

    Cons

Time of BI's is not valued. Not compensated for waiting for no show clients. If a client cancels last minute you have the option to drive to another random client maybe if there is one available to make up some hours or go home and not get paid.
