    Pros

I have only been at ACI a short time but the level of professionalism is great. There are many experienced and knowledgeable engineers who work together to get the job done. The work is extremely interesting. Their benefits are excellent and my co-workers are friendly and supportive. I would recommend ACI to anyone who wants a challenging work environment.

    Cons

I have not experienced any cons at this point.

    "Good work, poor management"

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at ACI Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Exposed to various electronics manufacturing clients and the challenges they seek assistance overcoming. Make contacts with equipment manufacturers and their new equipment. Colleagues all have strong skills in their area of employment. Good stepping stone to better opportunities, if you don't stay too long. Pay was appropriate for the position I held.

    Cons

Management - not sure where to start: no respect for employees, act simply to protect their own existence, direct employees to charge time to accounts that do not apply to their tasks. Employee turnover is 100% every 3 - 5 years. CEO doesn't know anyone below his direct reports (remember, it's a <50 person company!). Benefits are poor, so hopefully your spouse can provide health insurance. Dead weight is not cut, even when they are detrimental to job performance of those around them.

    Advice to Management

Stop acting like your staff are your lackeys and listen to them, sometimes. Cut the dead weight (you know who they are as their co-workers have complained about them by name). Stop doing work unrelated to ACI for the CEO and charging indirect account numbers for that work.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Government contracts

Flexible work hours and attention to personal life

Lack of direction from Senior Managment
    Compensation given for work done
    Low morale in office
High turnover rate due to unhappy workers

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and they will take more interest and pride in their work at ACI, rahter than just waiting for the day to end. You should provide guidance and feedback so your employees have an idea of how they are proforming and where the company is going. Invest in the company and its employees and you will see results.

I have been working at ACI Technologies full-time

    Pros

I met a couple other people who were worth staying in contact with.

    Cons

Defense subcontractors and government agencies in the DoD have a poor opinion of ACI, and for good reason. It has a high employee turnover rate, borderline unethical / illegal use of funding, widespread disrespect for the employees, and low morale.

    Advice to Management

Figure out if you want to run an ice rink or an engineering firm. Also, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, and good ole' boy behavior isn't conducive to a productive and healthy work environment.
