I have been working at ACR Homes part-time

    Pros

ACR does an amazing job training their employees and ensuring that their residents are always at the forefront of their employees' minds. The DCP job is very rewarding and provides more hands-on experience than most other jobs with the same flexibility.

    Cons

It can be slightly stressful in the beginning, but once you understand the routines and schedules it is less so.

I have been working at ACR Homes part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. You get to make a difference in the residents' lives every single time you work.
    2. You learn valuable communication skills that will help in any future career you may have.
    3. Paid training! You receive more training than CNA's do, which is extremely useful if you are going into a field in health care!
    4. Earn patient care hours!
    5. Paid internships!
    6. Flexible hours.
    7. Meaningful and life changing work!

    Cons

The training is extensive and sometimes repetitive, but they do this with the residents' best interest in mind. ACR Homes ensures that every single employee has the proper training needed to provide every resident with the best care possible.
