    Negative Outlook

I worked at ADC Telecommunications full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

ADC was a fun place to work in it's hayday. The pay was rewarding and it was work hard, play hard.

    Cons

Too bad ADC no longer exists as a company.

    Advice to Management

Too bad you couldn't keep things going after the Telcom crash.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at ADC Telecommunications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great culture, great customer focus. Manufacturing prowess consistently improved every year. People were highly motivated to win and get the job done.

    Cons

Structurally defective industry with over concentration serving Verizon and AT&T make it incredibly difficult to create sustainable growth. Over the years had invented some very innovative wireless technologies and smart connectivity that they just couldn't commercialize. Great culture had difficulty extending outside of a telecom centric mentality.

    Advice to Management

Truly understand core manufacturing and technology and find a way to leverage into more adjacencies
