I worked at ADP (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The training is second to none. Great room for advancement.

    Cons

It's a grind. There should also be more flexibility with working remotely.

    Advice to Management

Make sure territories are setup with realistic expectations.

    Pros

if you are looking for sales its a great opportunity to start your career, you learn a ton and theres a lot of opportunity to move to within the company, especially other sales roles. great compensation after you get the hang of things for under 30.

    Cons

company feels stale as the industry becomes increasingly commoditized. service team does not match the sales team, thus under delivering the solution

    Advice to Management

    invest in the back-end

I worked at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, treated with respect and when onsite at a client (as my entire team was) we had ample support from both the client and our own HR

    Cons

The "pro" of being able to be moved to a new client if your client should be unable to support you isn't always true. If they don't have needs at other clients, you'll be laid off

I have been working at ADP full-time

    Pros

Co-workers are good people, dedicated and very willing to help. It used to be a wonderful company to work for but that has changed in the past several years.

    Cons

Training insufficient, absolutely no work/life balance. Getting clients 'live' (billable) takes priority over quality (testing/QA) every time. There are layoffs every year and the positions are always back-filled with foreign associates.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to the employee satisfaction surveys or stop doing them. Stop sending our jobs overseas - the quality of work your getting isn't worth it. Make quality more important than how fast you can implement something.

I have been working at ADP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Immediate Leadership and team care a lot

    Cons

becoming Non-Sales Friendly. Took Equity way from majority of sales people (reserved for only top 3 spots in group). Extremely hard to achieve...overall commission structure has become poor and below average to what competitors are paying...

    Advice to Management

Give equity back. You have a disgruntled salesforce. Your top sales talent will leave for better comp...

    Pros

Great coworkers, decent pay and time off.

    Cons

Used to be a fun place to work - too many changes. Unrealistic expectations. Tied to the phone all day. No flexibility in schedule. Too much blackout time for vacation time.

    Advice to Management

Honest and open communication would be appreciated by your employees.
