I have been working at ADP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

FLEXIBILITY. Good work - life balance. Not much micro-managing for good performers. Good compensation even though it's been changing quite a bit lately. Strong upper management.

    Cons

It takes time and hard work to build your reputation. This isn't necessarily a con, but just know you can't walk in and casually make 200k without putting in effort on the front end. Clique based teams and management but not the end of the world if you can sell.

    Advice to Management

Better maternity leave policy would be nice.

    I worked at ADP full-time

    Pros

Management does a great job with training and making sure you are set up for success. It is just like any other outside sales job, if you work hard, you will make a lot of money. There is a lot of opportunity to grow with the company if you hit your numbers.

    Cons

Managers tend to micromanage at times

    Advice to Management

    NA

I worked at ADP part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great pay and full benefits for part-timers in Production department. I worked there for almost 11 years while I was going to school. They were always very flexible with my schedule. A lot of room for growth and many opportunities to learn new things. Excellent place to work!

    Cons

The "Go Green" initiative took a lot of work from Production, which relies on paper output. Hours were cut many times. Some office politics. Offshoring was a bit troublesome also.

    Advice to Management

Keep treating your employees right and you'll have them for a long time.

I worked at ADP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Teammates are fun and easy to get along with for the most part. Good benefits. Pretty good pay. Decent opportunities for advancement. Good number of vacation and float days.

    Cons

Mostly time off stuff: Scheduling time off can be challenging, especially during summer months and around holidays (only a set number of employees can take off each day, and once those spaces are filled, you get waitlisted and will be in line for the time off if someone cancels their scheduled day off). Practically no PTO/Vacation time can be taken during the year end period, as it's the busiest time of the year.

I worked at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They have a great training program and awesome benefits.

    Cons

They have a low base salary and it's hard to move up to management.

    Advice to Management

Increase the base pay for sales reps and hire a Sales training coach for sales reps to help them sell better.
