I have been working at AEG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent and competitive salary offered, great health benefits, a lot of employee and community programs and some perks as well.

    Cons

You must be a self starter and learner with a very thick skin. They didn't have anyone there to train me so it was sink or swim in the beginning. With a company that large it was difficult.

    Advice to Management

    Implement better training

I have been working at AEG part-time

    Pros

Flexible Hours , Decent Pay , Great Environment, Being able to watch games, concerts, and award shows is always a plus.

    Cons

Poor management, Bad discounts, no benefits, drama within the work environment , favoritism. The only thing that makes this job bad is the lack of care for the employees and the lack of experience you'll gain from working for AEG.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism and lies. Move employees around so they can gain the most from the experience. & we need health benefits!

I worked at AEG (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was flexible and attentive. You can't beat being able to enjoy the awesome events that are hosted at AEG venues.

    Cons

There is pretty much no opportunity for advancement. Working for them was decent for a college job, but there is a noticeable hierarchy and there were competent people who had been working for them for many years who had not advanced. Pay was pretty low.

    Advice to Management

Let some of the young college students in on growth opportunity. Talent retention should be better prioritized. Reasonable pay would have been nice as well.

I worked at AEG (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people, felt like a family working there.

    Cons

Many departments are undervalued, and pay reflects that rather than the work put in. Difficult environment for women.

    Advice to Management

Pay valued employees a salary that shows them how much you value them, regardless of whether they are part of a profit-creating department.

I have been working at AEG full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Stable hours and consistent work if you're full time. If a large event is occupying the venue then it's "all hands on deck". Part timers get decent amount of hours minimum 16 hours a week maximum 32+

    Cons

Little not pay increases. No employee appreciation and poor retention rate. There is very little advancement opportunities. If there's any openings it's not worth th headache and stress.

    Advice to Management

Increase your hourly wage and offer advancement training. Shift differential for Graveyard.

I have been working at AEG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is no salary plan so if you have an uniformed boss, huge salaries can follow.

    Cons

The only thing management cares about is the bottom line. Priorities shift on a daily basis and too much time is spent on unproductive ideas only to be scraped when the next wonder woman walks in the door. There is parity in this company and the management hasn't figured out that this is not a mom and pop shop any more.

    Advice to Management

The poor culture comes from the top and until you change the culture will not change
