I worked at AEON Stores full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

-Good Benefits (Includes Medical, Dental, Eye)
-Many days of Vacation (in respect to comparable competition)
    -Company sponsored events (dinners, picnics)

    Cons

-Low Pay (overtime does not pay time and half, pay is lower than comparable competition)
-Vacation schedules (annual leave cannot be over nine consecutive days)

    Advice to Management

Monthly quotas are generally set too high and unattainable. Please set more realistic quotas that reflect the local markets and consumer spending seasons.

I worked at AEON Stores (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing good... except staff purchase benefit

    Cons

Management just transfer staff to another department and stores on their own whim and fancy.
General Managers practice favoritism - allow their favorite staff to sleep and play games at work but take action if other do that.
General Managers force staff go stores to work as helpers, but they say that it is voluntary basis (verbally tell staff must go or otherwise)

I worked at AEON Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Double pay per hour during Public Holidays
I had one lovely manager who realized that my pay was not in lieu with the hours worked, and I was surprised he took the effort to calculate and notify me of it as I was unaware.

    Cons

High turnover, no training given whatsoever, certain supervisors are terrible and will just call and yell when there is no one at the LG customer care even though we were shortstaffed at the main Customer Care counter.

Took an unreasonably long time to get my money owed to me from the company who cut my pay, because as a part time I could only work a max 20 hours per week, but I worked close to 40hours.

Terribly rude guards that harass staff.

    Advice to Management

    Buck up.

I worked at AEON Stores as an intern

    Pros

gained front line work experience and learnt to serve customers. Also, I have the chance to help preparing the HKRMA competition.

    Cons

Too many old seafoods, they like to be in groups and expel the newbies. Also, one department gossips about other departments. Weird Japanese culture, the staff needs to have a small assembly every morning and say the five golden words. It is just like brainwashing and time wasting

    Advice to Management

Change staff's working attitude. For example: be more focus on work and be more acceptable; not to gossip and not to stick to a small group.
