I have been working at AGCO full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There's a real opportunity to make a difference - great combination of older brands within a newer company. Always plenty of challenging work to do. Limitless possibilities if you're willing to do the work.

    Cons

Depending on your team, the environment can feel a bit "old school." Duluth headquarters is a bit too formal.

I have been working at AGCO full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Although AGCO is a large company, there is very much a family feel. We maintain a healthy work/life balance. Pay and benefits are excellent. Many opportunities exist to grow professionally. The company values education and training. Safety is truly the top priority, above production and quality. The employees are truly valued.

    Cons

Business is very seasonal, and it's sometimes a challenge to manage performance as effectively as desired.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at AGCO full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good people at the lower levels. Good opportunities to work in multi-cultural settings (global projects).

    Cons

Project management at the product development level is a joke. Serious disconnect between presales drivers and after sales. Presales (Engineering, manufacturing, and Marketing sacrifice quality to meet ship dates. Then aftersales is stuck with costs for correcting bad design and quality. This behavior is driven from the top down.

I worked at AGCO full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The people who work there are really great.

    Cons

Management is awful does not create a positive work environment. Absolutely no diversity. Position is all busy work and doesn't push you to learn anything new. Penalized over small mistakes very early even though there is no training to speak off. Skills will plateau, outside of JDE you will learn nothing. Job description ask for business and engineering degrees but really none is needed.

I have been working at AGCO full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Salary is the only good thing I can recall. Some of the employees are great to work with as a team.

    Cons

Toxic atmosphere Best fit for new graduates not mid career candidates redundant and non challenging tasks outdated CRM system management not open to ideas for change Health Benefits expensive high deductible and only 1 option to choose from Management is not the best and sets the negative tone Too many disgruntle employees that sit in the same position for 15 years and not a good reflection of the company or offer much value
