I have been working at AGR full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun. Good people. They work with you. The product is not good

    Cons

Too much pressure. And if your a pretty girl you get the good leads

    Advice to Management

Give everyone the same opportunity. Cold calling the same people everyday upsets them.

    I worked at AGR full-time

    Pros

    None None None and None

    Cons

First, I don't think it's appropriate for people to have electronic cigarettes in the building and for the trainers to do nothing about it. Second, its not cool when a manager accuses you of taking his headset. Third, the place is VERY DIRTY!!!!

    Advice to Management

Start doing background checks and drug screens on your employees before you hire them! Also, take some personality classes!

    Pros

They have great managers & the training is great

    Cons

Although the training is great, the company can be very unorganized at times & the staff can be a little rude sometimes. There's no loyalty & the supervisors are never straight forward

I have been working at AGR full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a paycheck. If you enjoy sales, it's not a bad job. They don't mind hiring anyone with a criminal background. Very flexible with schedules.

    Cons

Lousy pay. Don't believe the post about a $500 sign-on bonus. You won't find an employee that's received it. Training leaves a lot to be desired for anyone with no experience in utilities sales.

    Advice to Management

Add more to your training program. Allow trainees to listen to calls made by experienced staff. Give them practice filling out the multiple forms before sending trainees out on the floor to try and figure them out while trying to get sales.
