    Pros

Great place to work when company is doing well, pay is ok, summer flex time, good company morale, small town.

    Cons

Downsize happens as rapidly as they hire. They can let 400+ people go in one day. Departments don't mesh together well. Language barrier with some other employees.

    Advice to Management

Train employees, enforce teamwork, allow growth, listen to the employees suggestions sometimes they may see something you weren't able to see.

I worked at ALSTOM (More than a year)

    Pros

The people working there are very nice and friendly. All the computer and equipment were already set up at your desk from day one.

    Cons

The job description was pretty general. The manager was pretty laid back and did not plan out the project thoroughly. There were many unnecessary delays.

    Advice to Management

Plan out the project better. Think of all the necessary tools that are needed for the job before hiring people.

    Pros

High Salary, good benefits. They have a lengthy road map for every single process in the company. They provide a large network for guidance.

    Cons

Overwork their people, lots of red tape. They are extremely bureaucratic and don't trust the employees. There is a lot of layers that are unnecessary and people are trying to earn their positions.

    Advice to Management

Need to offer more support and less action items. They tend to dump all of their responsilbility on their people.

    Advice to Management
