I worked at AMC Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Talented, passionate people. Brand recognition.

    Cons

Weak leadership with no strategy. Communication is poor. Development opportunities do not exist for entry and mid level employees. Human Resources management is either playing dumb or oblivious to the swan dive moral is taking.

    Advice to Management

Bring in some new talent in tech and human resources. Help build moral and a path for employees. The next time you have an "annual" layoffs choose some of the people who have been there for some time and no longer bring anything innovative to the table. There is no development of entry level or mid-career management. Career pathing is non-existent and people become frustration. Moral is abysmal and it takes more than an annual holiday party to help solve that dilemma.

I worked at AMC Networks (More than a year)

    Pros

It has various group employee benefits.

    Cons

Very low salary, no room to grow. Company has been changing the management staff, and bringing individuals from other countries branches to be trained. It looks they are leaving South Florida.

    Advice to Management

We are not machines, we are human beings. Stressing, and abusing your employees is a very bad karma!
