    Pros

Great communication and addressed issues promptly, offered amazing compensation and locations that were within my range. I didn't feel pressured and felt I could be very open with my recruiter.

    Cons

Unfortunately my recruiter took another position. There were payroll issues, however, they were addressed quickly. There seemed to be many process flow changes as the company was bought out twice while I worked for them.

    Advice to Management

More functional and accurate website.... I haven't gotten the customer service I was accustomed to since my recruiter left. Unfortunately, I have moved on with another company but I do not regret the time I worked for this company!

I have been working at AMN Healthcare full-time

    Pros

    - Very encouraging and supportive team and leadership--everyone wants you to succeed.
    - Hard work is pretty quickly rewarded both in "pats on the back" as well as in your paycheck and progress in the company.
    - Great potential for on-going income growth IF you are willing to work hard.
    - Training and resources readily available
    - Fun work environment of all ages
    - You definitely have to prove yourself in the beginning but once you have earned respect (which isn't hard if you have any sense of work ethic or professionalism) you will do well in the company.

    Cons

    - The tough travelers and stressful days come with the job...but the good part is that everyone gets them at some point so it mostly makes for entertaining "watercooler" talk
    - The most challenging part of the job is during the initial training period where your efforts are not rewarded like they would be if you weren't training, however the sacrifice in the beginning makes for really good success in the long run

    Advice to Management

    - May not always be a position for "freshly out of college" applicants who haven't experienced professional environments or understand what the kinds of rewards that come with putting in hard work.

I worked at AMN Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Great people, on-site gym, on-site cafeteria with great and cheap food, nice location, beautiful building

    Cons

Old computers, having to clock in and out for coming, leaving and lunchtime. You'd forget and it was kind of an ordeal to fix it.

I have been working at AMN Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

AMN has new IT leadership that are very forward thinking in their approach. The entire team will have skills more valuable the IT industry in a couple years than they would have with prior leadership. It's a company that believes in promoting from within. Woman really have an opportunity to move into VP positions and higher. The average tenure for team members is much higher than any other company I've worked for.

    Cons

I'm not sure if it's the industry or AMN itself or both but they are very sensitive to the economy and market. If sales are down no one will receive merit increases.

Top performers get paid very well at AMN, great co-workers, willling to train and develop you particularly in sales and recruiting, they are beginning to embrace the importance of technology, theres a great on site gym, a Starbucks, cafeteria, covered parking, business casual, great holiday parties and events

    Cons

Not for those that just want a check without putting in the effort, management can be a little dated and conservative
