I have been working at AMRI (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Experience
Coworkers generally dedicated, well beyond how well they are valued.

    Cons

Bids written with no sense of the actual work we do. Instrumentation is required to do the work which doesn't exist. Infrastructure is aging, no service contracts for HPLCs, antiquated labs and equipment. Hard work is not rewarded or recognized.

    Advice to Management

Spend 1 week in lab and see how we make do with what little we have.

I worked at AMRI full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great career experience, coworkers, and cleanrooms.

    Cons

Filling machines were not always reliable and would take a long time to set parameters to begin filling. Sometimes this led to long hours to oversee a project to completion, many times with a client on-site observing.

I worked at AMRI full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You learn what NOT to do! The worker bee's are great because you have to band together to endure repeated terrible decisions of hack management.

    Cons

The management is either leftover from Hyaluron (Warning Letter) or is a puppet for AMRI HQ. In either case they are a bait and switch operation for every client and any employee under the management clique is 100% expendable. If they dont like you they will never promote you until you leave. What they do to "Aseptic" products is terrifying and will inevitably kill someone with their beyond shady practices.

To potential clients: If you are searching for engineering work then yes, clinical or commercial don't dont waste your $, you'll never get there.

    Advice to Management

I would tell you all to leave your cushy positions but you would never be able to find a comparable position for the, most likely, ridiculous salaries. You would be terrible in an equal position at a real company. Good luck with your inevitable unemployment.

    Cons

No real chance at promotion, meaning no real chance at growing or significant increase in salary.

    Advice to Management

    Promote from within.

    Cons

Too much Corp BS to deal with. Cronyism and political infighting at the top destroying the company

    Advice to Management

Tom D'ambra needs to step in and take back control .Teva cronyism is destroying everything he built. Personal greed and short term focus at the senior level are killing the place

I worked at AMRI (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Can't think of much...They have a lot of friendly people working at the site.

    Cons

Extremely weak leadership at Burlington from MFG through QA
    Low pay and No Bonuses
Can't keep a PM longer than 6-12 months
    Quality systems are severely lacking
All of the knowledgeable people are leaving or have left
Company is heading back into a warning letter or consent decree

    Advice to Management

The site is not in a state of control. Shut it down in order to remediate from top to bottom. You owe it to the patients, your clients, product safety and quality and your employees.

I worked at AMRI (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I worked with some truly amazing people that even though I have moved on from AMRI, I am happy to still be friends with them.

    Cons

The company does not care about their employees. Minimal to no raises, bonuses, stock options... not even a thank you or good job occasionally. Management is a joke. The guy in the corner office was scared of HR and upper management, he just depended on the yes people who were so busy sucking up that they never learned their job. Quality and Safety are flexible. I am still surprised to this day that they have not killed someone or blown up the place.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend you are actually on the floor on a regular basis and find out the real problems in an aging plant and with a burned out staff. Appreciate your employees, they want to do a good job. Build up your employees and the whole company will change. If you're not interested in change and the work involved to let AMRI be a successful company then go scoop ice cream at Stewarts.

    Cons

To many to name. How do you layoff 22 people. And then post opening.

    Advice to Management

Management at oso bio are all young and really need more training in there positions. They are running company to the ground.
