    Pros

Everyone at corporate very friendly. In my position very little contact with AMS in my daily duties, only needed to reach out when necessary. Ability to set my own schedule

    Cons

Benefits expensive if adding spouse/family. In my area raises were non existent unless you were lucky enough to be promoted

    Advice to Management

Be up front about potential for advancement when asked. Update the darn website so that it actually works with the company provided ipad (or update the ipads)

    Pros

Expectations were clear, job wasn't difficult at all.

    Cons

Lots of travel, but it wasn't a surprise, they were up front about it all.

    Advice to Management

Mileage pay out was sometimes lower than the going rate of gas, especially when traveling to different cities and states.

    Pros

Get company vehicles or reimburse better.

    Pros

None, there is nothing good I can say about this company

    Cons

Constantly badgered to do better, get to more stores, get projects done. Never an atta boy or good job given out. Pushing people to the point of quitting because you sold the project time short in no way helps your company, hello! Yes I have 16 stores that haven't been seen in 40 days, because you gave me other things that had to be done! And what I have managed to get done was done with little support from you! So now I have quit! What's that gonna do to your time frame? How does that help you get things done? Now some other poor schmuck is going to have to clean up the mess when it takes you another month or two to hire a replacement. I am appalled by the stupidity. I had 3 different people who would send me emails telling me what I needed to get done, boss to rep ratio 3:1 ain't never gonna work . Don't bald face lie to people in interviews is another way to attract quality workers, when they ask- tell me about a typical day, don't answer you are visiting 5 stores a day and will spend about 90 minutes in each store, be honest- in some stores you will spend 90 minutes fixing and cleaning 3-4 machines, in some stores you will spend up to 3 hours cleaning and repairing 10 machines and we will expect you to still visit 5 stores a day. How is it 90 minutes is given for 3 machines or 10 machines? Which do you think is going to get quality? Don't hold new employees responsible for pre existing problems, it defeats your purpose, give adequate time for a new employee to get adjusted and learn what they are doing before you throw them out there! You get all this information on your very first day when you have no idea what these people are talking about

    Advice to Management

Wake up and use your heads, pushing people to the point of not caring or quitting does not help you in any way, because what you were pushing to get done now will be dropped and not get done at all

    Pros

Off on wknds, and most holidays. steady paycheck. Company Vehicle.

    Cons

Ok so here it is, This company does not care about the employees. You will get worn out after one year with this company. Health insurance is very high. they assign you plenty of projects along with your regular work and expect and push that you finish them fast. You will spend a lot of time on the road and if you spend the nite out, you have $30 for per diem, but recently they said that you have no per diem upon waking up from hotel that day after. You will be just a number.

    Advice to Management

IF you ask for employees to do survey about company, listen and take advice. People are quitting because of the way emplyees are treated. Stop pilling on extra work without incentive to worker. Horrible place to work

I worked at AMS Retail Solutions (NC) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you have no experience and you cannot find another job, this is a good way to build up your resume.

    Cons

There is not enough time in the day to finish all of the work that is assigned. I spent 10-11 hours a day grinding away, and only would be credited for 8. The only way your progress is tracked is by daily on target report. If you get stuck in traffic, have to make an extra repair, or work during the holiday (busy) season, you are going to be behind. I was forced to start working on the weekends, just to keep up. You are constantly sent new equipment and will need a lot of storage space. You are not given any time to organize your space, or to stock your vehicle.

    Advice to Management

Your drive to pay back a loan is burning out your employees.
