I worked at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

This company was sold mid 2015 but died 5 years before that. Most employees were laid off, some were sold to another company and then laid off and some remain at the new company iivi.

    Cons

    Layoffs
    Furloughs
    No raises
    No 401k match

    Advice to Management

To ex-Anad mgmt - Enjoy your retirement or ruining your next company.

    Pros

The few remaining people who gave their blood, sweat, and tears to build this place.

    Cons

The crew running it today. I have never seen such mismanagement, lack of vision, or respect for the few who actually tote the load.

    Advice to Management

Admit you are failures at running a business and get yourselves replaced with real business savvy people. It's a fantasy of course because your primary goals are to continue fleecing the company and lining your pockets.

    ADVICE TO EMPLOYEES:
    GET OUT!!!!!!!!

    I worked at ANADIGICS full-time

    Pros

No pros that I can think of.

    Cons

It's all secrets and games in upper management and it seems that they take pleasure in the intrigue. There is absolutely no transparency and very poor communication. They are more concerned about their pay and benefits than promoting a good and productive work environment.

    Advice to Management

No advice to give as it is most likely already too late.

I have been working at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If the company goes under, at least the bathrooms will be clean. Cleaning staff cleans the bathrooms 50 times a day.

    Cons

No ping pong balls for the ping pong table.

    Advice to Management

Please get more ping pong balls.

I have been working at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

A few talented managers who know their technical areas well

    Cons

But these managers are trying to manage areas they don't know, and the BoD won't allow decisions that ultimately would allow the company to survive

    Advice to Management

    Close the doors now.

I have been working at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Greatest and most knowledgeable coworkers.

    Cons

Company will probably close soon. Extremely inflated upper management. After a 30% reduction in force, still have same number of VPs. Totally inverted company structure. Have more VPs than design engineers to develop products. Every day, you fear another layoff.

    Advice to Management

Show the street you are serious. Eliminate much of your upper management, VPs. Why do have a CTO as a VP with no one reporting to him? End the "buddy" crap.

I worked at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good people within the company. Tight groups, willing to train and teach others.

    Cons

Totally hand cuffed by upper management. Directors think they know everything. They do not trust anyone to work without being micro - managed. Upper management team is only there to get golden parachutes and collect their shares. Took major salary adjustments when company hasn't been profitable in 5+ years. CEO is head of Board-conflict! Last 2 layoffs of over 180 employees...2 director, 1 manager, rest were the worker bees.

    Advice to Management

    MORALS- look it up

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Bonuses and salaries are good when compared to others in the same industry.

    Cons

    - Lack of technical competence and vision from the CTO down to the lowest level of management.
    - Anybody can easily become either a chief scientist or a vice-president if you know the right people.
    - Lots of managers without the proper academic credentials heading very challenging programs.
    - Poor benefits
    - A lot more managers than engineers developing products.

    Advice to Management

Decrease the level of layers management and increase your product development workforce.
Hire senior management with respectable and "relevant" academic credentials.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Could not think of anything positive to say about the company except maybe the intent of a few good people.

    Cons

I worked for a short time & left in 2008. It was one of the worst places to work. Selfish, manipulative management (esp the Irani crowd), antiquated production equipment, politics & gossip, nepotism, back stabbing, and silo'ed thinking.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to someone who actually cares.
