I worked at ANGARAI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Some good employees.
    Some great ex-employees
    Great website with half-truths.
Equal opportunity employer when it comes to hurling abuses and yelling at employees.

    Cons

    Too many.
    1) No proper decided marketing plan on the market segment
    2) Too much talking - not to the point. Waste of time in meetings.
    3) Self promotion of the management
    4) In other companies, employees would feel an honor to meet and talk to the CEO. Where as here, employees tremble with fear when the CEO comes to you.
    5) Employees who are agreeable to whatever the managment says are encouraged, promoted and rewarded.
    6) No independence to work. Too much of micro-management.
    7) CEO talks bad about employees behind their back to other employees.
    8) "My way or Highway" attitude of the management.
    9) Negative perception about the company in the market place.
    10) Wants to be like a big-five with a small company resources. Too much of big-five bureaucracy with just one or few resources in each functional area. First concentrate on getting more business. Then put the big five process later once you have considerable revenue stream.
    11) Over-worked, under-paid and exploited work force. Expectation of completion of work with no regard for personal time. - slave driver.
    12) Very very poor decision-making process.

    Advice to Management

    1) Respect your employees and their viewpoints.
    2) Look beyond your friends and relatives to recruit in your organization, if you want it to grow and flourish. Different ideas might help, provided you want to listen.
    3) Realize that there is life beyond work.
    4) Talk less and act more. You also work and not just order around and shout at people.
    5) Leave the reigns of the company to a capable manager with good people skills and loads of patience.
    6) Allow the managers to perform by not interfering and stay away from micro-management
    7) Limit the meetings and the time taken in every meeting to the bear minimum to transact business.
    8) If you want "YES" men and women, recruit freshers. Don't insult experienced knowledge workers in front of their peers. How will you feel if you are insulted and yelled at in front of others?
    9) CEO- Change your ways and address the issues/ root cause of the problem. Not cosmetic dressing or yelling at people
    10) Listen to people as to what they say rather than hearing what you want to hear.

    I worked at ANGARAI full-time

    Pros

Met a few trusting, fun and friendly staff.

    Cons

Not prepared to work with qualified employees to help them grow. Negative politics. Poor HR Leadership. Poor Senior Leadership. Does not trust their own employees. Not a flexible company to work for. Work hours are too strict and is like being an inmate rather than an employee. Will try to fire you without giving you a review or providing valid reasons for you termination. You will always have to watch your back when working for this company.

    Advice to Management

Hire quality management staff. Listen to your employees. Train HR to do a better job with HR Policies, Procedures and Employee Relations. Stop all of the back-stabbing, bitterness and throwing employees "under the bus". Figure out a way to retain your employees. First start in retaining employees is to listen to them and treat them fairly. Stop treating everyone like they are below a certain level. You hired them to do a job, so trust them to do that job and not try to embarrass them or hate working for you.
