  1. "Good place to learn, and prepare for examinations. Not a place for a long-time career."

I worked at ANSR Source full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free Lunch. Large repository of reading material from all academic fields. Stop-gap for those interested in higher studies, or exams.

    Cons

Your experience may be invalidated when trying to look for a mainstream job. It is due to the niche nature of the company.

    Advice to Management

Position yourself as a serious creator of academic content. Pay young graduates fairly by transferring some of that surplus to them. Don't waste on toilet paper, and control your office politics.

    "The office is moving!!"

I have been working at ANSR Source full-time

    Pros

Friendly and fun environment. People encourage you to learn and grow. Work-life balance is good

    Cons

The office is moving. Yayyy! The management and decision makers all sit in Whitefield and decided to make their lives easier by moving the entire office their way. Biased decision-making as usual. Polls for silly reasons while for something as big as this, it's shhhh, tight lipped. You think 1 or 2 months notice is more than enough for everyone to move or look for other jobs. Phewww. Cost cutting shouldn't go to... an extent where the management achieve its targets n get fat hikes, where the rest slog their life in traffic jams. Or has this got something to do with downsizing? Maybe. Did the management ever consider moving to Embassy golf links, HSR, Hebbal or Bannerghatta Road. Naaa... It's too far for them even though the costs in those areas are much lower. Our team in the US wouldn't be aware of all this, they blindly trust these manipulated decisions. The team might initially move but will slowly leave. Be ready to face a lot of attrition. The lazy HR team will finally get to do some work.

I worked at ANSR Source full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Nothing to share and huge list of Cons

    Cons

No job guarantee. Employees will be asked to resign if they face any health issues. Manager is the God. Whatever he says will be final and they are the puppets in the hands of HR. Different policies for different teams and the policies will keep changing as per the requirement of management.

    Advice to Management

There should be some escalation point where the problems of employees can be brought to the attention of management.

I worked at ANSR Source full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company has a great work culture. Almost everyone is dedicated to the work they do and so it is easy to collaborate with such passionate people. They provide enough on-the-job training to ensure everyone has the skills to efficiently complete their work.

    Cons

The work can get monotonous at times. Also, promotions and appraisals are not always very promising.

I worked at ANSR Source full-time

    Pros

Can't really think of anything work related. I did make a few good friends however.

    Cons

Approach to new recruits is pathetic. This has contributed to the high attrition rate. Politics are there everywhere, but in ansrsource, the deserving employees are overworked and underpaid, while the top-level people relax.

I have been working at ANSR Source full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Intentions and policies of HR are in place. Work is fine, easy.

    Cons

Chatterbox managers!! The leads of a certain team are extremely inconsiderate of their editors and authors by their constant banter and laughter. Lame jokes and personal insults are lovingly thrown at each other while the entire team plus 10 others can listen in. They either do not realize the disturbance and distraction they cause, or they simply do not care. If the editors and authors are expected to speedily... churn out high quality work, let them sit where there is no racket with pinging doors, meeting room audio-spill, pathway, and, to top it all, these noisy, talkative leads! Subjecting your team with off-key singing and inappropriate jokes and company gossip is simply unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable. The company also does not seem to care for basic employee requirements such as optimum floor temperature (its either too cold or too warm for comfort), pleasing break areas (brooms, mops, buckets, garbage bins line the cramped room), and adequate and sheltered lunch area. Talented and hardworking employees certainly deserve better!
