I worked at ANSR Source full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free Lunch. Large repository of reading material from all academic fields. Stop-gap for those interested in higher studies, or exams.

    Cons

Your experience may be invalidated when trying to look for a mainstream job. It is due to the niche nature of the company.

    Advice to Management

Position yourself as a serious creator of academic content. Pay young graduates fairly by transferring some of that surplus to them. Don't waste on toilet paper, and control your office politics.

    Pros

The company offers immense opportunities to its employees. It recognizes talented and hard working team members. Some of the managers are good in everything they do. It's good to be in a place where you can look up to someone. Free lunch is always a plus. The work itself is very rewarding (if you like academics) there's no monotony Management cares, in most cases.( This has not been true of the recent past... though)

    Cons

Ever changing management Weekly team meetings have stopped for some reason and I used to find them really fun and motivating. They bring the team together. Some forced activities on the other hand don't serve the same purpose. People hardly attend them.

    Advice to Management

    Don't change leaders too often

I worked at ANSR Source full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free lunch Office dog (miss him) The company was good till mid 2015.

    Cons

Rigid timings Leaves get deducted because of being late Stay in office even if you have completed your work Work on internal projects if you are not working on live projects. Internal projects are useless and nobody cares about them. No proper work life balance Stringent leave policies Incompetent team managers who are more match makers than managers Intrusive managers who are more inquisitive about your... personal life than about projects. The best people have left and now all those useless folks who have stuck on have been promoted. No growth for those who work hard and maintain quality. Instead they are burdened with more work n no appreciation or hike or incentives. Growth is only for those who are pals with the managers and who are in good terms with the leads. Hike is pathetic and is considered a joke. With the cost of living today, it is difficult to sustain with the pay the company offers. And the best joke was that of 200% incentives. I wonder who even got so much. Must be they dreamt of it. Wake up! Don't fool people by writing fake reviews! HR is pathetic and mediocre! New top management think that they can bring in the work culture of a BPO BUT without any benefits. Very cheap and manipulative decisions made at the cost of employees work and pay check. Attrition rate is very high. Try to retain people instead of hiring freshers. Policies and designations change at the drop of a hat. People who are good at their work are stuck at authoring and reviewing while all the useless folks are promoted. Motivate people by offering them growth and compensation. Stop demotivating and blaming employees. There is a lot of blame game that happens in teams and it is encouraged.

    Advice to Management

Get back to how the company was earlier. Retain the experience employees. Look at the leads and how they work, their rude behavior and mails to the team members must be questioned. There must be an open and honest environment where the employees can discuss about issues they are facing within the teams. The team leads are the cause for all the blame games and demotivation. There is more of demotions than... promotions!

    Pros

A well-intentioned upper management, employee-friendly policies in place, training modules, free lunch.

    Cons

Treating employees like cattle, enforcing 9-hour workday rules with fixed entry and exit office timings! Impractical and demoralising incentive system, Unresponsive HR, Teams have utterly bad project leads who botch up the assignments and deadlines. They are extremely uncommunicative and unapproachable.

    Advice to Management

Please do pay closer attention to daily internal workings of the company.
