I have been working at AR Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This company has vast opportunities and many supporting programs for their employees. Hard work and dedication are greatly rewarded here, monetarily and by the vast amounts of other benefits. Management takes a caring interest in every employee and their well-being, they have taken huge strides to improve the work environment with the feedback received, they value communication and transparency and are constantly creating new opportunities for individuals to succeed. Many benefits include free lunches, and enjoyable company outings, as well as daily events for employees to keep the workday fun. Managers have been given opportunities to run their teams flexibly and vast improvements in the company's infrastructure have already proven to increase employee morale. The effort and hard work is well rewarded and recognized within the company and the company is working to provide the best work-life balance possible.

    Cons

The company has received a bad rap due to a variety of scenarios including the company starting a new office in Newport which had the typical issues most startup companies would have in hiring staff not fit for the position and employees being let go, the stressful industry and obstacles that employees can face are not for individuals who seek a typical 9 to 5 position where monotony is preferred. It is a fast-paced environment in which during a particular deadlines can require more effort for the job. This is not for everyone but only those who wish to push themselves.

I worked at AR Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The free lunch and coworkers are the only pros.

    Cons

The work environment is super stressful, severely understaffed and the management thinks its employees are lifeless robots who have no life outside of work. There were also too many complaints about long hours and lack of work-life balance. I don't know if management doesn't realize this or maybe they just don't care about the employees.

I worked at AR Global full-time

    Pros

There's free food so you won't starve while working hard for the company.

    Cons

This company thinks that employees are robot who they can command to work longer without complaining and without getting tired. We don't have work-life balance anymore because it's always about work.

I worked at AR Global full-time

    Pros

Some colleagues make the work environment fun.

    Cons

The working hours of this place are too long, and the work never ends. Working here is so bad that I don't get to talk to my kids for weeks as I am always busy with the work. Also, they expect you to work without breaks and without enough time to refresh yourself.

I have been working at AR Global full-time

    Pros

They offer free food to make you stay late and work after hours.

    Cons

The biggest problem of this company is that a few immature people are running it. They have unreal expectations, and if those expectations are not met, they force an employee to leave. As a result, constant hiring goes on here. The training of new hires is not up to the mark, so they annoy those who are already working here. All this makes my job tough.

I worked at AR Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. They keep you in the building as long as they can...work you to death and still expect you to work some more when you get home. That would be great except there is no work from home policy in 2019!

    Cons

No work from home policy yet expect you to do so. Young managers who think everyone should work like them... or allowing people to make their own unique contributions. Cut throat environment, lies and betrayals...everyone is looking out for themselves only. Inside cliques...there is belief that one controller and her manager are sleeping together. Frequent turnovers which means training and also keeping on top of your duties. Unrealistic expectations...what you usually get from younger people who hasn't experienced life and overcoming challenges.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at AR Global full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Pursue the right opportunities for investments.

    Cons

Stunned to see that they have hired the managers of the West Living portfolio to manage their new senior living investments. The President and COO of the Healthcare Trust have a very bad reputation in the senior living industry, which is a very small community and everyone knows everyone. I was shocked and appalled at this decision and surprised that there was not more due diligence into their background. In fact, the entire operations team they have brought on board with them have really bad reputations in the industry. Hoping that AR's decision to bring John Rimbach and his team from West Living doesn't negatively impact the entire company.

I worked at AR Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Provides lunches and snacks so you save some money.

    Cons

Schedule and dress code too restrictive; no real power to anyone except the president who spends a lot of his time reading reports regarding employees that are tardy. Totally infantizes the workplace. Bonus is not paid per the contractual rate and is paid over 12 months and not in a lump sum.
