I have been working at ARA Diagnostic Imaging full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Profit Sharing and working with some awesome staff and Rads

    Cons

All numbers. Quantity over quality. 30 Mins per exam= 16 patients a day. ARA works you like a workhorse and doesn’t realize how it can affect their techs long term. You will not last in the career with that amount of patients and the quality of work will decrease. Eventually all the workers will be burnt out and injury prone. Reason why, I don’t plan to stay with the company.

    Advice to Management

Put in breaks for techs to breathe a little without have to try to cut exam times done just to increase patient volume. Also if there are breaks, employee sales will feel more appreciated.

I worked at ARA Diagnostic Imaging full-time

    Pros

The benefits are and time off is decent

    Cons

Workload is unrealistic, all they care about is how many patients you can do. Turnover rate for technologist is the craziest I have ever seen in over 13 years in my profession! Could be an excellent company if they actually cared about their employees! STAY AWAY!!!!

I have been working at ARA Diagnostic Imaging full-time

    Pros

Work hours. Benefits. No holidays. I only gave them one star but deserves nothing. You will eat at your desk all the time with no brakes

    Cons

Unfortunately this company is about the bottom line. You will be a slave . Heavy workload, unappreciated, politics are insane, managers have no clue what you do but still set you up for failure and say it's you fault. You get wheeled in by the pay, then you will regret it. You will always work with the fear of getting fired. Trust me not worth it. If a patient complaint is submitted , you will be written up! No questions asked. You will be double booked all the time. They play favorites. If they don't like you you will be fired. Mangers have no clue about the work flow. They will get rid of you instead of fixing the problems with work flow. There is no team work at all . You will be extremely stressed all the time. You will not have enough time to do your exams and guess what ? They will never understand why. You will be held accountable for that. Mangers are cold and will micromanage you. You are basically the patient , manager and radiologist punching bag every day. They allow their favorites to get away with murder . Good luck hope this helps you. If you don't believe me ? Go ahead try to work for them . You will soon see. Always keep a PRN . You will never know when you need a backup plan. All the positive comments are mostly from other departments and not from the techs . Keeping it real!

    Advice to Management

We are not punching bags for patients. Stop overloading your techs. Stop letting other employees get away with being lazy. Trust your techs. Stop demoralizing your techs . We are people too. You will continue to have heigh turnover , but I'm sure your company is used to that.
