I worked at ARC Document Solutions (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice Cloud and Mobile Technology and an excellent array of Professional Services

    Cons

Management changes direction every 2 months

    Advice to Management

Create a solid enough plan using an outside firm if needed, that you can commit to for at least a year before changing direction.

I worked at ARC Document Solutions (More than a year)

    Pros

A great cloud solution that is continuously being improved upon.
Introduction into the AEC world for other opportunities should you wish to embark on.
Global footprint with an array of services for its customers.

    Cons

Tenure employees must accept the company is trying to move into the digital age. They need to either get on board or simply move on instead making it miserable for everyone else.

Senior managers are purposely turning a blind eye and are not addressing these types of employees. The "good ol' boy" culture is detrimental to this company.

    Advice to Management

As long as senior operations management is on bonus compensation plans there will be no effort on their parts for investing in new talent, promoting employees within the organization or upgrading equipment and facilities.

There is no long term vision but instead selfish near sided short term earnings vision for themselves. With this modus operandi the company will not progress forward but instead will continue to stagnate.

The company must reevaluate and reassess its senior executive managers so that their individual goals will not prevent company success and growth while retaining exceptional employees

    Pros

    The AR Team is amazing

    Cons

Cheapest company I have ever worked for, with the worst Management Team..cant seem to make up their minds how they want us to handle collection calls.
I have permanent whiplash from them changing their minds so often.
I would NEVER recommend this company.
No perks, the benefits are expensive. owner clearly does not care about the employees.

    Advice to Management

The list is much too long.

I worked at ARC Document Solutions full-time

    Pros

Work from home and from office.
    Flexibility to plan schedule.
No other sales personnel in office, allowed freedom to tailor sales presentations.

    Cons

Quick turn-over. Sales staff not fully trained to equip them with needed skills to best represent employer and thus reduce turn-over.

    Advice to Management

Each person hired, desires to have a job that will meet their needs and provide opportunity for growth and recognition, the mass hire - which I was apart of - didn't help sales personnel across the country to have these goals become reality.

    Pros

Nice people and a lot of talent working there. The environment is calm and slow. It has a great work / life balance.

    Cons

The salary is not good at all, not even competitive. There is no room for growth and you can get stuck in the same position for years without a raise or any sight of promotion.

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of the sand and take a look at your employees benefits. Stir things up and make some radical management changes. Give your young promossing employees to show how capable they are.
