I have been working at ARMA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Always working with new technologies and being able to work in an enterprise environment. Able to hold a good position with no degree and earn great pay.

    Cons

Government customer is a pain to work for and ARMA leadership is not able to prevent it.

    Advice to Management

Be truthful to employees. We were told that there was never a possibility the company would be sold . 3 months later it was sold to GDIT.

    Pros

    Helping out soldiers within DoD

    Cons

Arma hires folks that has the clearance for current positions. How can you hire someone that has never worked in the current job environment and put them in charge of a 3 man team. It takes to long to get any thing done in the environment. The manager does not believe in 8570 put personnel in position that they are not quilified for.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers and personnel that know what they are doing.

I have been working at ARMA full-time

    Pros

ARMA had a great culture focusing on the SOF Warrior and their mission. People focused, mission focused...

    Cons

...and then they were bought by GDIT. Now it's money, butts in seats, and money...did I say money?

    Advice to Management

REALLY leave ARMA alone to do what it used to do...don't lie and say you are going to do it.

    Pros

Good top level leadership, commitment to the customer, recognizes hard work, gives back to the community. Company is made up of some great veterans that look to hire former service members with great minds and work ethics.

Doesn't remain loyal to it's employees. Their focus is to provide service to the customer at any cost and employees are just filling a slot to carry out that commitment.

    Advice to Management

Mission will always remain top priority but it is important to remain committed to the things that you say to the workforce.
