    Pros

They work hard to make sure the environment is as good as it can be. There were BBQ days and theme days. When they had to close the call center division they brought people in to make sure we had the skills to get a new job, or in Volt's case found people new jobs.

    Cons

Like all call centers the pace is kind of hectic and things can change on short notice. At times they were slot to convert, but this is before they were bought by Arris.

    Work environment not so great

    Advice to Management

    Keep call center clean

    Pros

Great Supervisors and employees and most customers where ok too. If you are good at tech support this is a place for you.

    Cons

The company bought out pace and then shut all the call centers down so nobody will be working there anymore.

    Advice to Management

I think the day will eventual come when ARRIS wishes they still had call centers but right now they don't think so.

I have been working at ARRIS full-time

    Pros

Work with multiple processes (Agile, Waterfall...)

    Cons

Hard to pull a good solid schedule together as there are too many moving parts. Strategy is lacking or not shared.

    Advice to Management

Involve the team for strategy. Communicate.

I worked at ARRIS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people working at Arris mostly are nice. There is no work pressure. No deadlines.

    Cons

Hard work is not rewarded appropriately. Management has no clue about software engineering technologies or how to make a project or product successful. Employee performance management is a joke. Majority of the employees have lost touch with the latest technologies. Is a very management heavy organization. HR is a big joke too. Does not take any action in spite of getting feedback from employees about management not rewarding hard work and dedication. Senior Management has no Vision.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee feedback and especially those who are performing consistently rather than senior management who have hidden agenda
