I have been working at ARS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great break rooms. Clean bathrooms.

    Cons

No job security. They let people go over little mistakes. One guy was let go over a mistake they didn't train him in yet still fired him anyways because someone had to get fired. If you want job security and training look elsewhere. If you want to walk on eggshells and not know if you will have a job tomorrow come here. Personally I am looking for another job.

    Advice to Management

Change the culture to one of a more understanding nature.

I have been working at ARS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Company vehicle & gas card

    Cons

Micromanaged to exhaustion. Clueless about setting leads, 2 reps will get all the good leads. The rest will have to go to ""No Shows" & "1 Leggers". No opportunity here, which is why they've gone through 8 General Managers in 7 years, and a New Sales Manager every year. Absolutely no training... better learn to self educate yourself because they have no training program.

    Advice to Management

Clean House! Get rid of everyone before you lose everything. Nothing you're doing is working!

I have been working at ARS (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent Program Manager for the Jacksonville branch. He really takes care of his people. Perform and you can be moved to full time with benefits. There are also real opportunities to advance if you perform onto other positions in the company. Meeting and exceeding targets get's noticed. . Great exercise walking the stores. Recently increased the hourly way by 20% to stay competitive..

    Cons

The job itself of an SSA approaching folks in Home Depot stores isn't that fun and gets boring. Problems paying out commissions.. Very reactionary company where things change daily.

    Advice to Management

Develop a more employee friendly culture and you retain more of your people instead of constant hiring for jobs that can be demanding.
