I have been working at ASA College (NY) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are generous and pull together when someone is in need, like a family.

    Cons

The long days make it hard sometimes.

    Advice to Management

I learned a lot about ASA College and the people that work there this year. As a result of a recent, serious illness I was dumbfounded by the outpouring of generosity of the staff in donating their hard-earned PTO and sick time, with the blessing of upper management and the HR department, so that I could recover well from surgery and subsequent treatment without worry. Their generosity enabled me to not only have a salary during a very difficult time, but to retain my health insurance which I discovered was very good. And they have welcomed me back with open arms. Upper management and Mr. Alex Shchegol, the president, were and are very supportive. It has been an uplifting experience to work with these great people.

I have been working at ASA College (NY) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

too many lay offs and decline in enrollments. Classrooms are empty.

    Cons

Insurance USED to be great its now HORRIBLE!! I worked at ASA College for about 2 year you will only see about a .30 cent to .45 cent raise a year if your lucky. So don't count on getting a raise if you work here even though some people got 20% cut. There is also a lot of trash talk behind your back. DON'T trust anyone. You will get rolled in no time. This company is hurting and they just had big layoffs. But the President will tell you not to worry that things are looking up HAHA.. Yeah right!!! What a LIAR

    Advice to Management

Now when you walk into ASA College you can tell there is a lot of stress and unhappiness. It really sucks. Did you check how empty is Manhattan?

I have been working at ASA College (NY) full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very low salary, workload high and work under pressure, no raise in years, biased management, unfair treatment to staffs, low quality educational products, traditional teaching methodologies

    Cons

Absolute worst. Final days environment so it is full of lazy unprofessional entitled employees who are just sitting around waiting for closing. I have seen employees bully each other, employees steal, and nothing happens. Embarrassing place to work that lacks professionalism.

    Advice to Management

Give up. Sell to someone with integrity who might actually save the school and stop extorting students.
