I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Too many PRO's to list...... Biggest PRO is they pay for ALL the leads! You make your own hours = you make your own paycheck; work from home, or anywhere there is an internet connection; daily meetings are short and not mandatory; daily recognition of the ones getting it done; great scripted platform; you dont ever make 1 dial as the system does all the dialing for you; products fit 99% of the need so there is always...

    Cons

Don't come here to work 20 hours per week. Plan on a normal 40-hour work week and you will be rewarded. You need to have at least 5 states to keep your phone popping. I have 10 so it never stops ringing. It's a 1099 position so would have to buy your own benefits on the open market.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Assurance is hands down the best insurance company I have worked for, and I have worked at many. However, if you are NOT a top salesman already OR if you have a negative attitude in general there is a good probably this won't work out for you. The way the leads are delivered to the agents is based off how much premium you submit with the amount of calls you take. This is somewhat fair in my opinion as you can not control...

    Cons

There are only 2 cons of Assurance. One minor and one major: 1. Minor: From time to time the system crashes, or you can't continue through the sales process because of a teach issue but this seems to be improving quite a bit. 2. THIS IS THE BIGGIE AND WHY I DONT RANK IT 5 stars: You never know how much you are actually going to get paid and when. If the policy is not instantly approved and it goes to underwriting...

I worked at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Innovative dialer system when it’s not glitching.

    Cons

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Work from home and when you want

    Cons

Many of the state's like Florida only offer a Final Expense product which is graded and completely over priced. Then there are states like California were you can only offer term insurance to 70 and 80 year old. If you don't sell these unreliable products the calls stop. Many of the transfer call are people searching for their brother, sister, or mother. If you don't sell the call it's counted against you. They...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

work from home, can get paid daily, good training, good support system

    Cons

tier system, only 14 days to rank into a tier, start off in a mid tier and don't receive many calls, set up for failure after paying for many state licenses.

    Advice to Management

get rid of this tier system!! it's killing us! sitting at your desk for 5-7 hours and get 8 calls? really? How is a new agent supposed to have any success at all if after 14 days and not very many calls, we are ranked to a tier? this is terrible! good agents leaving because there is no chance to even get going!!!!! WHY do you think this is fair? AND calls that don't connect, or the person hangs up upon being transferred...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

No charge for any of the leads. My USS is a nice guy.

    Cons

Some of the worst leads in the industry. I am not sure the origination of the leads, but they are very low intent leads. There are zero lay downs. The callers have been abusive and uninterested in speaking with anyone to get a quote. I've never seen anything like it. There are no inbound calls. These are people filling out a form on a random website, expecting to see a quote, only to be bombarded with calls and transferred...
