I have been working at ASSURANCE IQ for less than a year

    Pros

Free leads. No schedule. Great management. Great training.

    Cons

Tier system. Work your tail off or fall in tier and income fast. Lots of chargebacks but hey, writing 10 -15 policies a week is amazing.

I have been working at ASSURANCE IQ for more than a year

    Pros

Work from home whenever you want. Free leads (if you close deals) quick cash if you are a strong salesman.

    Cons

When I first started in 2019 the company was awesome. Bonuses were good, leads were steady, money was coming in. Now they have a tier system which is somewhat fair but even me being a top producer in the company for a long time I had one bad month and I'm digging myself out of a hole. Had a buddy who worked with assurance when I did (ALMOST SINCE ESTABLISHMENT) OF THR COMPANY) and the system locked out his account and the company took months to get him back online and he lost everything and they didn't seem to care at all so there's the upper management of this company in a nutshell There are no benifits (which is whatever I'll live) Tech support is AWFUL and USELESS. The system is always changing for whatever reasons and it glitches very very frequently. I Consiter myself a pretty strong closer and good salesman, if you're not... Don't bother with this company. But if you are it's a somewhat decent gig for some quick money. It's not a place where you can build yourself like these other comments which are clearly written by management. Investing in yourself would have a residual system and this company does not have any residual. All in all its a good side hustle and absolutely not a place you want to invest years Into. But you can deff make some quick cash if you're a strong closer.

    Pros

work from home, can get paid daily, good training, good support system

    Cons

I have been working at ASSURANCE IQ for less than a year

    Pros

working from home and you can log on and off at any time

    Cons

Tiers. It's a waste of time to sit and get bad leads and earn no commission. The system is not fair to those that have spent hours online and not receive the same leads as the "top performers." In the beginning there was no tier system and now most of us receive old and bad leads that have been recycled. There is no room for growth.

    ASSURANCE IQ Response

We apologize that this opportunity is not working out as you expected. You are correct that our system is based on performance. That said, we have recently rolled out some improvements to our system. The one that may help you the most is our new team of User Support Specialists, who are dedicated to helping contract agents get more comfortable with the system and learn how they can be more effective on calls. Our goal is for you to have a great experience. This is not sustainable if our agents aren't enjoying success. If you are willing to help, we'd love to have you set up some time with us to share more suggestions. Please email us at agentfeedback@assurance.com, and let's see how we can make things better.

    Pros

You don't have to work in the office with this morally bankrupt leadership

    Cons

ZERO communication from this company. Everyone is ALWAYS PERFECT according to them. Commissions have lowered DRAMATICALLY without explanation. *Dailer system is a custom built system that seems to have a mind of it's own. They apparently couldn't afford a legit dialer so this one is a VERY STRIPPED DOWN solution with very limited functions .Reps ask for additional functions and they are never added. *They cut commissions to guides to offset raised commissions to the agents,. Again ,with no communication *All guides and agents are 1099 but we are essentially employees. This is the Uber model. A few corporate employees are getting rich at the expense of workers. This allows them to avoid the fees associated with hiring employees. If you are unable to make ends meet as a result of their unfair tier system it's within your best interest to file with your local labor board and they can institute a job classification action against Assurance. *NO BACKGROUND CHECKS. This is STUNNING! I suspect they will be hit with a HIPPA violation Look, don't believe me! They will hire ANYONE! LOL

    ASSURANCE IQ Response

    June 3, 2019Marketing Director

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. As a young company, it's reviews like this that really help us develop and improve our platform and the entire Guide/Agent experience. We're sorry this opportunity is not working out for you. We realize that, as you said, you don't have to work on our platform. And we're trying to build the best experience possible. But in the end, our system is based on performance. The purpose of our software is to help shoppers seeking insurance find qualified and experienced agents who can help them get the coverage they seek. Unlike other agent call centers, where agents are bound to their desk from 9-5pm, with a vague compensation structure, we're seeking to solve this with a model that allows agents to be in control and work when and where they want. All of our contract agents receive background checks. Our Guides agree to background checks, but do not handle sensitive consumer information. We did build our dialer because we couldn't find an off-the-shelf one that fit our unique needs. We're constantly making improvements, and it is quickly evolving. It would be great to speak with you in more detail about your experience. I think we could learn from it. If you would, please email us at agentfeedback@assurance.com, and we'll set up a time to see if we can make it a better experience for you.
