I worked at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Innovative dialer system when it’s not glitching.

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

work from home, can get paid daily, good training, good support system

    Cons

tier system, only 14 days to rank into a tier, start off in a mid tier and don't receive many calls, set up for failure after paying for many state licenses.

    Advice to Management

get rid of this tier system!! it's killing us! sitting at your desk for 5-7 hours and get 8 calls? really? How is a new agent supposed to have any success at all if after 14 days and not very many calls, we are ranked to a tier? this is terrible! good agents leaving because there is no chance to even get going!!!!! WHY do you think this is fair? AND calls that don't connect, or the person hangs up upon being transferred...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Freedom. Here I have the freedom to work when I want and make as much as I want. All I have to do is sell and follow-up with customers whom I’ve already connected with. With hard work Assurance has contests to help me add to my number of licenses. I don’t have to pay for E&O which was a huge draw for me. In my first 3 months I made about $17k working about 25 hours/wk.

    Cons

For some a downside will be working for themselves but not by themselves. So if you’re more employee driven I’d say this isn’t the career for you. I have to manage my own taxes and so I do it quarterly.

    Advice to Management

You have gotten better over time in being more responsive. Just keep growing in this area because folks leave when companies aren’t communicative. Create a department to reduce chargebacks. Again communication with customers inside and outside are key. Also consider a couple more major carriers out there to give customers a couple more options so we can keep them long term.

Appreciate your note. Especially your advice to management. That's all sound advice, and we recently took an important step in improving our agent communication. Hoping over the next few weeks/months, our agents see those improvements.

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Started out good, but they changed the formula which makes it difficult to make money if you want to work on a part time basis.

    Cons

They changed the formula and have agents waiting over an hour for a call. They also have terrible leads. These people have never heard of assurance and are not interested in life insurance. They don't give people options. These days, people want options. Booooooo!

    Advice to Management

You need to allow part timers to make money or you will fail. You also should go to a brokerage formula because people want options. I will bet in a year you will either not be here or will have sold out your book of business.

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Work when you want but not really because you're penalized for not working full time.

    Cons

The management cannot be trusted and totally shady. I believe they have been disconnecting calls or changing my license to inactive as I'm in the closing process in order to steal my sale. They post recent sales and only about 4 agents are even selling. I believe this is a waste of time with a business model that provides no certainty for the agent and no future you can count on. After making a couple sales for chump...

    great industry priced products technology

    Cons

I am near the top 50 in hours worked week after week and bottom 400 in sales call delivered week after week my USS instructed me to break the law i refused might be the reason some agent gets 1000s of calls a month i get 50

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

    None at all. NONE NONE

    Cons

This has to be the worst company to work for! They promise the moon and the stars! Lol don’t be fooled. The leads that you contact have NO desire what-so-ever in purchasing life insurance; instead, these less than qualified leads are going online and prompted to fill out a lead capture form to get a “free amazon gift card” and some how get directed to Assurance. The prospects have no money, disabled, and computer illiterate...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

If you ever spent and time in insurance you will know there's lots of disappointing and dishonest companies. This company is none of those things. Everything is high tech from the notifications that lines are busy, that I receive on my phone. Getting paid 3x a day 7 days a week. I've never experienced anything like that. The commission structure is awesome. I expect to make over 200k here from my home, literally lying...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Assurance gave me the opportunity to excel and make money. They are very transparent and allow you to be hands on and determine the amount of money you want to make! They give you all the tools - except a computer (unless you work at the office- I work at home) - to succeed! Their leads are top notch and that makes my job easier to sell. The training that is provided is designed to expand your knowledge and dissect...

    Cons

Are there things that can be improved upon? Sure, sometimes the system will slow down unexpectedly. But, if you're an agent and worked for as many companies online as I have this is common. With Assurance they keep improving EVERYTHING. Over the last year and 3/4 I have seen soooo many changes that it is impressive but still sometimes there is a blip in the system. This is the only thing I can think of. Which is so minor...
