I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Work when you want but not really because you're penalized for not working full time.

    Cons

The management cannot be trusted and totally shady. I believe they have been disconnecting calls or changing my license to inactive as I'm in the closing process in order to steal my sale. They post recent sales and only about 4 agents are even selling. I believe this is a waste of time with a business model that provides no certainty for the agent and no future you can count on. After making a couple sales for chump...

    June 3, 2019Marketing Director

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. We recently improved our system so that no one is penalized for working part-time or taking time off. If an agent decides to take a week vacation, they will come back to the same status they left. That said, our platform ...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Top agent's have it made. Other than that worry about your agent's instead of the 30 day freelook and the A plus rating. Things where great in the beginning. I do feel that if they have someone interested those leads go to the top agents or favorites. Phone rings about once an hour now and I've noticed I get a lot of declines. Something definitely up with call routing. They'll say it's totally up to you but the leads...

30 DAY FREE LOOK. I know it's the law but it's up to the customer to read the fine print

    Advice to Management

Remove the 30 day free look and watch this companies persist-ency change tremendously. And give your lower tier agent's some good calls instead of 1 every 2 days

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

    None at all. NONE NONE

    Cons

This has to be the worst company to work for! They promise the moon and the stars! Lol don’t be fooled. The leads that you contact have NO desire what-so-ever in purchasing life insurance; instead, these less than qualified leads are going online and prompted to fill out a lead capture form to get a “free amazon gift card” and some how get directed to Assurance. The prospects have no money, disabled, and computer illiterate...

One of the things that makes us proud of what we do is we happily and patiently serve the underserved. Many insurance companies have washed their hands of those very people you describe. Not us. We've worked to create and sell products that help these people and don't leave their ...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

If you ever spent and time in insurance you will know there's lots of disappointing and dishonest companies. This company is none of those things. Everything is high tech from the notifications that lines are busy, that I receive on my phone. Getting paid 3x a day 7 days a week. I've never experienced anything like that. The commission structure is awesome. I expect to make over 200k here from my home, literally lying...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for more than a year

    Pros

Assurance gave me the opportunity to excel and make money. They are very transparent and allow you to be hands on and determine the amount of money you want to make! They give you all the tools - except a computer (unless you work at the office- I work at home) - to succeed! Their leads are top notch and that makes my job easier to sell. The training that is provided is designed to expand your knowledge and dissect...

    Cons

Are there things that can be improved upon? Sure, sometimes the system will slow down unexpectedly. But, if you're an agent and worked for as many companies online as I have this is common. With Assurance they keep improving EVERYTHING. Over the last year and 3/4 I have seen soooo many changes that it is impressive but still sometimes there is a blip in the system. This is the only thing I can think of. Which is so minor...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

    The technology platform is impressive

    Cons

The leads are so bad that it is IMPOSSIBLE to make any money. The customers are under the impression that life insurance will cost the $20 per month and then you have to break it to them that it will cost $150. Other companies out there it will only cost $60-80. So you have this huge uphill battle to convince the customer your expensive product (you only can sell one company!) is good for them. If you are able to...

Thank you so much for your feedback. Our approach to finding a shopper the right insurance is a holistic one, and price is only part of that. Just as important is finding (or creating!) policies that are just right for their specific needs, so they don't pay for coverage they don't ...

I have been working at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

    Work when you want. Remote

    Cons

Management does not care! Countless complaints to management from agents.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of tier structure! You have great agents at tier 4, 5,6 who can not get out due to no inbound leads! You say unlimited leads, but they are liars it's not! You will listen to countless voicemails, hellos, ringing in your ear, recycled old leads! This company is awful! Stay away from this company. Doesn't make sense you are a 1099 comm. only agent. Management will blame you and act like it's your fault that...

I worked at ASSURANCE for less than a year

    Pros

Work from home (if you are anti-social).

    Cons

The leads are recycled people that have no interest, no money, or can't qualify for the product you sell. It was odd because the first couple days they were halfway decent and then all the sudden the quality dropped off a cliff. Talked to some other ex-agents and this is their ploy to lure people in and then they pull the rug out from under you and turn off the "good" leads. Then it is all people looking for a gift...
