I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A good place for longevity and pay and benefits are pretty good. Employees are covered by an union. Retirement benefits are cool.

    Cons

The benefits use to be bar none and only a few other companies could compete. Many people have had long careers in the past.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, decent discounts on services, employee resource group that generate networking opportunities.

    Cons

Growth from non-management to management is very hard and once you finally get an opportunity the mid to upper level management aren't good at grooming you for another promotion. They are too concerned with their own advancement. I worked for this company for almost 19 years and for 9 of those years tried to promote after going to college and getting a bach and masters degree.

    Advice to Management

stop trying to buy all these companies and spend more time and money on your employees and the service you offer

    Advice to Management

Go in to the position knowing you will have to learn and grow with the demands of the market

    Pros

Benefits, Diversity, Great Products, Company As A Whole Invests & Value Employees, Great Chairman
